The City of Ottawa offers a Contribution Rebate Program for individuals residing in Ontario who contribute $25.01 or more to a participating candidate. After your donation, the campaign issues you an official contribution receipt. You then submit a rebate application to the City of Ottawa's Elections Office with that receipt, and the City pays your rebate directly. The maximum rebate is $75 per person.
Example: Contribute $100 → apply to the City of Ottawa → receive $50 back → Your net cost = $50.
Maximum contribution: $1,200 per individual.
