Dear neighbour,
In this Thanksgiving season, I simply want to say thank you.
Thank you to each and every one of you for your support throughout this journey.
Thank you to our dedicated volunteers, to my exceptional campaign team, and to everyone
who encourages me, from near and far. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I feel your trust, your affection, your prayers and all your good wishes. Your support
touches me deeply and gives me the energy to carry on this commitment to our community.
In this season of gratitude, I wish you precious moments with your loved ones,
gentleness, peace of heart and comfort.

What a week on the ground! From the Cogir residence to the Masjid Bilal mosque, with a morning of
frank questions and answers with Orléans' women candidates in between, I did what I
love most: listening to you. Let me share those three moments in
pictures, then we get to work: the final fundraising stretch, and our big date
on October 16.

CARING FOR OUR ELDERS
Our elders,
our compass
At the Cogir Senior Living residence in Orléans: a table, a coffee, and conversations that matter.
No speech this time: just listening. I heard about health services, safety on
our streets, and public transit.
These voices built our ward. They deserve a councillor who
is present, attentive and accessible, who genuinely cares about the well-being,
the quality of life and the concerns of residents, and who stays connected to their
realities throughout the year. My commitment: safer streets, more
reliable and more frequent public transit, accessible local services, and a
listening ear that never switches off.

WOMEN'S POLITICAL CAFÉ | OFLWC

Political Café
Six candidates, one shared drive: to serve.
In the middle of Women's History Month, what energy at the Women's Political Café
hosted by the Orléans Federal Liberal Women's Club
(OFLWC)! Among candidates, the conversations kept coming back to our shared
experience: what it means, day to day, to be a woman on the campaign trail, the
questions we get asked, the doubts we brush off, and the strength we pass to
each other.
I told my own story plainly, mostly to encourage: if our morning convinces even
one woman in the ward to step forward, in politics or anywhere else, it will
have counted double.
My favourite moment? Before the panel, when the
genuine conversations are already underway, coffee in hand. Thank you to the
OFLWC for a morning worthy of our local democracy.

TOGETHER, BORDERLESS
Thriving together,
borderless
The Masjid Bilal mosque is first and foremost a place of prayer, and I was welcomed there with
a warmth I will not forget. The message shared by the imam was beautiful and
simple: before wanting a better world, we must first work
on ourselves. A message that goes beyond any single tradition.
Our conversations, then, were very concrete: safe spaces for our families, and
above all affordable housing, the question that
comes up everywhere this year.
Whatever the language or the faith, we wish for the same things: a safe ward,
a roof we can afford, equal chances for our children. Ward 1 has no inner
borders. It moves forward together, or not at all.
A warm welcome, conversations that bring us together.

CAMPAIGN DONATIONS | BY OCTOBER 26

The home stretch gets funded now.
When it was sent, there were 17 days left before
the October 26 vote, and this final stretch is crucial: signs, flyers,
door-knocking, it all gets decided now.
This campaign is funded by neighbours, not organizations. Thank you to everyone
who has already answered. There is $15,000 left to raise,
and that is exactly the cost of what remains to be done.
And good news: part of your contribution comes back to you. Any

The east end showed the way.
Let's finish the job.
The numbers are in, and they are worth a smile: between October 1 and 4,
27,553 electors cast a ballot in Ottawa's special advance
voting, a 46% jump from 2022. And the busiest of all 10 locations citywide?
The François Dupuis Recreation Centre, right here,
with 4,238 votes.
One detail that matters: that first round could be cast anywhere in the city.
The ballots at François Dupuis came from across Ottawa, not just from Ward 1.
In other words, our ward's own voice has not truly
been heard yet.
Friday is when it all happens: for the first time, Ward 1's nine voting places
will count Ward 1's votes. Let's show that the François Dupuis energy was us.
On October 16, let's come out in numbers.
